As part of this weeks ‘Weekly Photo Challenge’ I’m posting a few photographs taken yesterday in Glenrothes Town Park, of some lamp posts!
The last two photos are also from Glenrothes Town Park, taken from under the ‘White Bridge’.

Very inventive and creative shots. I like a bit of street architecture.

Thanks Lorna 🙂 Some street architecture can be quite nice, even in a new town such as Glenrothes.

It looks like those lamp posts have not been repainted since I played there as a kid. I am curious what you think of the bridge? I certainly find it handy when I am driving around Glenrothes. However, when I take my kids walking in the town park the whole place just feels different because of it being effectively bisected by the bridge. I guess it has lost a lot of its woodland feel is what I mean. Possibly that’s a positive but I have fond memories of playing in the park so I guess nostalgia makes me want to resist the change.

Now that is taking the ordinary and making it look extraordinary! Love the different point of views of the same subject.
