My final post this week, as part of the Eye Spy theme, for the wordpress photographic challenge, is two photos of actual eyes. The first is a picture of my dog, who loves it when I go to the beach to either take photos, or in this case look at the rocks!
The second photo was taken at the back of this beach, at Ravenscraig, near Kirkcaldy, and is of a fly sitting on an Oxeye Daisy.
Love your heading, and course the photos, wish I could get our three dogs to look in the camera, they think its game not to 🙂

Thanks Lynne 🙂
I know what you mean about getting your dogs to look at the camera, this is a fairly rare photo, Jake is normally very camera shy!! I think he was too knackered after all his swimming to look the other way! Lol! 🙂

What a sweet dog, Andy! There was a black spaniel named Judy, living next door to us when I was a child. I loved that dog to bits. Great capture of the fly on the flower. 🙂

They do say that dogs take after their owners. 🙂

Beautiful, sweet-looking dog! Our dog is black too; she is elderly and has cataracts, so her eyes are rather different these days. Dogs rock! 🙂

Thanks Lorna 🙂 They make an interesting pair, that’s for sure. But I find Jake is the easiest to take for a walk, I have difficulty getting the leash on the fly! Lol! 🙂

Two great photos, Andy, but the one of your bedraggeld dog steals the show for me. he’s lovely. He obviously likes a good swim!

Thanks Millie 🙂 Jake does enjoy a swim, in fact it’s often difficult to stop him going in constantly, even when he’s tired out!! 🙂

He certainly looks well on it. Swimming is my sport of choice too, so I understand how Jake feels when he sees water!

Swimming is definitely a great way to exercise Millie. My daughter loves swimming too, if we go to the beach, she always goes in, whatever time of the year it is!! I went in last year at the end of September, but it was only for 10 minutes, it was bitterly cold 😦 She doesn’t seem to notice it, and stayed in for over an hour! Getting older really sucks!! LOL! 🙂

Getting older sucks in all things, Andy! I do keep myself fit, simply because I always have done and don’t see any reason to change until I have to. I don’t know how old your daughter is, but she’s very brave to swim in the sea up there in september. Wow, that must have been cold. Ah, well, that does make me feel my age. My swimming is done in a nice warm pool! 🙂

Lol!!! I’m getting to realise this, having to wear glasses to read on the pc, not being quite so surefooted whilst climbing on rocks, freezing my bits off from 10 mins swimming!! Lol!! I’m not normally that brave, most our swimming is done in a nice warm swimming pool 🙂
I just didn’t want to be outdone by my 13 year old daughter! Lol! 🙂

All kids make you feel old, Andy – just looking at them, for a start! But that’s also very lovely. Being young is the start of many wonderful things ahead. Life goes on. I did a course on genetics during my geology training (as part of palaeontology) and the idea of ‘the immortal gene’ is always with me.Thirteen is a wonderful age – so much to look forward to in the years ahead. 🙂

Thank you Amanda 🙂 I reckon you may have started Christmas early though Amanda, this comment should have been for https://fifephotosandart.wordpress.com/2015/12/18/cees-compose-yourself-photo-challenge-centrepoint-breaking-the-rule-of-thirds/
and the bee is in fact a wasp! LOL!!! 🙂 🙂

Sorry – my bad…. Wasp! Our bees can sometimes look like this!!! Although I should have known as I got bitten by one just yesterday on the toe, but I managed to get the stinger out fairly quickly. I didn’t see the little blighter, so that one may still have been a bee. (Yes, perhaps it was the wine talking when I wrote that comment!!! LOL)

Ouch!!!!! I’ve been stung on my toes a couple of times, and I know how painful that can be Amanda 😦
Hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas Amanda, and a very happy New Year 🙂

I think I was scrolling through your various posts, as opposed to an individual post of yours, Andy. On some wordpress template themes, it is not so easy to find the comment button. Thanks for sorting me out!!!!
