Twa Heids – Thursday Haiku

Talking heads near me
As art goes, they seem to be,
something I can see!

      • I don’t know about that. I like your ‘attempts’ as you call it. I think it’s very good. I can’t for the life of me do Haiku. Rhymes yes, but not Haiku. The only Haiku I will be able to do is:

        Five syllables here
        Seven more syllables there
        Are you happy now???

      • LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s the best Haiku I’ve seen!!!!!!!! I only went for the Haiku idea because it seems easier to me, it’s the rhyming bit I struggle with. Mind you, I’m very old fashioned, I don’t really understand the difference between a bit of poetry that doesn’t rhyme, and a normal piece of prose! To me, all poetry should rhyme! LOL! 🙂

  1. These ‘Twa Heids’ are great, and they remind me of totem poles. Your photos of them are lovely but I can’t decide whether I like the b/w or the colour best. All of them show the heads very well. Well done with your haiku!.:)
