As you know, I don’t normally do link style posts, but I just had to share this amazing blog post by a lass called Justina, on the Bored Panda website. These black and white portraits by Lee Jeffries (500px website), are absolutely out of this world!!!! If only these people could be used in a Film, it would be an instant smash hit, there is so much character shining out of each persons portrait!! As a taster, I’ve copied two of the portraits, from the blog (http://www.boredpanda.com/homeless-people-lee-jeffries/), to this post
Please let me know what you think of this amazing work by Lee Jeffries (500px)
It’s an amazing photographer !

Wow, these photographs feel like storytelling with light instead of words. Just unbelievably tender and beautiful.

Amazing photography, checked out the link and was in awe. The photographer conveyed what it means to have a soul, we are who we are no matter where we are.
Thanks for the enlightening link 🙂

Andy, the stark black and white does these pictures so much justice. In fact, it pushes color from the inside out (if that makes sense).

That does make perfect sense to me Tammy 🙂
I’m positive the photos wouldn’t be as effective in colour………..and you wouldn’t get that same feeling of hidden depths of colour extruding outwards 🙂

You said it more poetically than I could have there!

Lol!!!! I wish it was signs of me being poetic Tammy, it was my geological nerdiness shining through ………….. volcanic and other igneous rocks often form by extruding magma, either onto the earths surface, or they extrude into what we call the country rock, ie whatever the local geology was prior to the igneous body’s arrival 🙂
