This wonderful Georgian house in Viewfield Terrace, Dunfermline was built in approx 1808, for James Blackwood, the then Provost of Dunfermline.
From 1920-1965, it was used as an art and craft school, under the ownership of the Carnegie Dunfermline Trust, but in 1985 it was converted into flats.
I love this black ans white picture !

As Halloween is approaching in the State, I get the slightly eerie feeling from the B&W. But I’m sure it feels completely different in color. π

Thanks Lynne π It certainly would have been a grand place to live a few years ago, unfortunately, or fortunately, it appears to have been turned into a fair number of flats.

Well I suppose better flats, then a ruin, looks like a nice place for flats π

Beautiful photo! The black and white definitely gives it a “mood,” in the best sort of way.

Thanks Meredith π As you have no doubt noticed, I’m really into my black & white photography at the moment, primarily for that reason, you can create a really interesting mood with each photo π
